What a lovely day for the zoo. The temps were in the high 60's and the sun was out. We woke early and headed out for the girls FIRST trip to the zoo. We arrived in time to watch the sea lion show. Then we headed out to Africa to see all the great animals. We didn't realize just how large the Kansas City Zoo is until we walked around for 4 hours and still had not seen all of it. Good thing we had our walking shoes on and the stroller! The girls were completely beat and slept most of the way home. It was a lovely day and a great memory that we shall have forever.

Katelyn wasn't so sure about the carousel. As soon as it started going, she wanted OFF. So Jason held her while the ride kept going.

This monkey was making the funniest noises. Every time he yelled out, Jillian busted out laughing. "Silly Monkey!"
Jillian was out cold. Katelyn was trying to snuggle with her. Adorable moment. Fantastic memories!
