Deanna Rose Fall Fun!

So I was digging through my email yesterday and realized that Deanna Rose Farmstead was going to close on the 31st for winter.  They won't reopen until April.  THAT IS 5 WHOLE MONTHS of not feeding the billy goats and seeing all the animals.  So, I packed up the girls for our last 2008 visit to Deanna Rose.  This time I let the girls feed the goats through the fence.  Jill tried to eat the goat food while Kate was mesmerized by the goats.  Kate kept hollering "Bailey" which is our dog.  Bailey doesn't look like a goat, but he eats like one.  We met 3 other sets of twins enjoying the nice fall day and the closing of Deanna Rose. There are lots of twins here in the KC metro.  I think there is something in the water here.  Next year the girls will be old enough to bottle feed the baby goats and actually go into the goat/sheep feeding pens and perhaps take a pony ride.  Here are some photos from the day!

Kate was chatting it up with another twin.  We are going to have to watch her.

What a crazy busy week this has been!  On Wednesday we visited Gymboree for another playgroup.  Since this is Halloween week all of the kids dressed up in their costumes.  Here are some pictures from the playgroup.

Dance Daddy Dance!

A few times a week we have 'Dance Party USA - Shaw Style' in the living room.  We crank up the XM and rock out.  Both of the gals will bob their head and every once in a while stomp their feet.  That is the extent of our dance moves.  But they both love dancing in Jason's arms.  As soon as he puts one down, the other one is begging to be picked up.  It is the cutest thing in this world to see your husband dance with your children.  It gives me warm fuzzies and makes me smile!
