Take that Martha Stewart!
I have been on quite the cooking streak! I can't say that I 'made' the gingerbread house. It came from a box, but I decorated it, if that counts!
New Hats
I have a thing for Baby Gap. It's not an obsession like shoes or chocolate, but I really like their clothes. Well, we got a shipment in today of some clothes I ordered for the girls. Since it has been so stinking cold here, I also ordered the girls some hats. As soon as Jason put one on Jill's noggin, Kate insisted she wear hers also.

More Gymboree Fun
Gymboree is our safe haven from the snow. It makes us get up and out of the house. The girls have a great time and play hard. I get 2 hours of silence when they nap after lunch. Who could ask for more?
Katelyn and Amelia during bubble time
Jillian catching bubbles
Soooo many bubbles!
I mentioned before that Kate likes to sit in other mom's laps. I wasn't lying. Here is documented proof that my child prefers other's laps while at Gymboree. Here she is in Jenny's lap, Janey's mom.
Jillian, Janey, and Ms. Amy blowing bubbles.
Katelyn doing the freeze dance.
Oh the weather outside is frightful....
There is no other way to put this....it is cold. Really stinking cold here in Kansas. I was really excited that today's high was 37. The highs this week have been under 20, so 37 is warm. How pathetic is that?! We got about 4 inches of snow earlier this week, so trudging around with the girls has been limited. We have spent much of the week indoors playing. Here are some pictures I have taken this week.
Yeah, I am not winning any "Mother of the Year" awards for my kids watching tv.
Totally engrossed and kickin' it in the lazy boys
Murphy got a new sweater. He won't move unless you offer a 'cookie treat'. Once he does start walking he leans to the right. A little off kilter...kind of like all of us.
Here's Bailey showing off his new Captains sweater. It fits him perfectly as the "Head babysitter/Chief Guard of all things baby/Head of Household security/Neighborhood Watchdog".

242 Holiday Pictures
I took 242 pictures for our Christmas card. For those of you with toddlers, you know this happens a lot. By the time I got everyone in focus, one of my stinkers would take off. God Forbid you try to get them to smile. THAT JUST ISN'T HAPPENING! Same thing with getting them to sit together. That isn't happening either. I finally gave up and just followed them around the house. I figured after 242 pictures, something had better come out right. Here are a few. Too bad I didn't get any pics of my meltdown......
They have mastered the art of escaping up the stairs.
Murphy and Bailey had to get in on the action.
Kate crawled onto the coffee table to look at this picture of Jason and I. She kept saying, "Daddeee, Dadeee". No mommy, just daddy.
I think this picture says it all, Kate "Jill, if you touch my ornament, I am going to hurt you."
Sitting in front of the tree wasn't going to happen.
Kate giving Jill a 'helping hand' .
