Mommy's little sickies

This summer has been a rough one for colds and virus's.  Anything and everything that has been going around Kansas City, my kids have picked up.  We have spent plenty of time in the doctor's office - in fact we were there twice in less than 24 hours.  It's been a crazy end to our summer.  We have been cooped up at home and grating on each others nerves.  So how do you entertain 2 sick and fussy 2 year olds?  Crayons, paints, playdoh, and dress up.  Repeat for several days until the kids are healthy enough to get out of the house.

I am happy to say that the girls are now on the mend and feeling better.  Thank GOD!

Jillian says being sick stinks

On a sweet note, here is Katelyn sharing her oatmeal and feeding Jillian.

Ohhh Jillian must be thirsty, so Katelyn is sharing her milk.

Playdoh Mania!  See the lysol in the background?  That was the day I had to bleach and lysol bomb the house.  Anything to get the germs out.  Anything...

To whomever invented washable paints:  Every mom and dad in the world thanks you!

Feeling better and finally eating our spinach again.  Spinach salad is one of the few things they both like!  Jillian loves hers with lots of tomatoes, while Katelyn likes her salad plain with a little bit of dressing.
